Before I begin, here's what I'm referring to. The Security And Maintenance setting Is typically accessed, by navigating to Control Panel > System and Security > Security and Maintenance. You will then see an array of options as shown below.

From here, you can check and apply certain security tasks, as well as perform system maintenance pertaining to the state of your Windows 10 operating system. To access this with a simple double-click of the mouse, I will demonstrate how to create a Security and Maintenance shortcut on your computer's desktop with Incredible ease. So without further ado, let's get this tutorial started.

Step One:

Firstly, navigate to your computer's desktop, right-click on a blank area and select New > Shortcut as shown below.

Step Two:

Next, In the Type the location of the Item field, enter the following command.
control /name Microsoft.ActionCenter

Then hit Next to move forward.

Step Three:

Now you need to give your shortcut a name. It can be anything you like. For the purpose of this tutorial, I've named mine My Security And Maintenance. When you've applied yours, click Finish to finalize the process.

Step Four:

I've navigated to my computer's desktop, and as you can see, the Security And Maintenance shortcut has been successfully created. Let's make sure It's functional, by double-clicking It.

Last Step:

As expected, the Security and Maintenance window has executed, thereby I can apply and update various settings according to my computing environment.

Final Thoughts:

Although It's not a difficult task to access the Security and Maintenance by navigating to Control Panel, nothing beats the simplicity of a double-click of the mouse. Moreover, the shortcut Is not dedicated to the desktop per se. You can copy & paste It to just about any directory you like, thus have It readily available at all times.
